Books2Africa Nigeria is a registered social enterprise (RC number 1246336) committed to improving the quality of education in Nigeria by providing quality donated books to educational institutions and projects.
Books2Africa is an NGO founded in 2012 whose mission is to promote a culture of ‘readcycling’ and improve the quality of education in Africa, through the collection, processing, shipping and distribution of quality books, computers and educational materials that equip individuals, institutions, and communities to acquire knowledge and achieve their full potential in a globalised world. The organisation was founded in 2012 by four African students from Nigeria during their time studying at universities in the United Kingdom, where the organisation still operates to date.
We have 17 Book Categories covering all academic levels available for eligible educational institutions and projects that need donated books. Our donated books are in new and used condition and have been checked to meet quality standards before they are catalogued, categorised and palletised for donation. Each category contains pallets of books with an average of 1,000 books per pallet. We only donate books to educational institutions and projects based in Nigeria, and require beneficiaries to contribute ₦1,000,000 per pallet to recover our logistical costs.
Browse available pallets for each category, view the quantity and list of books inside each pallet and add it to your request basket. Note that you must request a minimum of 1 pallet to proceed. We do not donate less than 1 pallet and we do not donate to individuals who do not have an educational project, nor to book sellers.
